Objective

After completing the course the student is able to:
- work as an expert in the social and health care services
- solve problems in health promotion and develop innovative solutions
- understand and participate to the societal decision-making
- explain the structure, decision-making and financing system of a service system and develop the service system to meet the population's needs

- Social and Health care services and their current challenges
- Promotion of health and well-being in the societal decision making
- Policy work, management and leadership related to health promotion

Assessment methods and criteria

Written task will be evaluated from 0 to 5 by using the following criteria:
- Theoretical background and the use of peer-reviewed references
- Structure, content and logic
- Argumentation
- Formal compliance with the instructions.

Other tasks of the course will be evaluated as pass/fail.
