Objective
Student understand the basics of cell and molecular biology and the most important cell biology events. The student knows the conformation and function of cells, cell organs, cell division and intercellular communication, enzymes and energy metabolism, and protein synthesis. The student knows the biochemical reactions of the body that underlie clinical laboratory tests.
Content
- conformation of the animal cell, the plant cell and the bacterium
- cellular organelles and their functions
- transport of proteins
- macromolecules and genetic material
