Objective
CLIENT-ORIENTED SOCIAL AND HEALTH SERVICES 2 ECTS ASOTE
The study unit is arranged entirely in English
Students will learn to
- describe the current challenges related to the health and well-being of the population and the factors behind them
- describe the indicators of the health and well-being of the population and the importance of data in identifying the need for services and the provision of services
- describe the overall structure of social and health services and the legislation concerning social and health services
- describe the overall structure of social welfare with particular focus on supporting work ability and functional capacity and rehabilitation

Content scheduling
Student is working independently starting in Theme 1 and then themes in order. Introductions will open in 8th February 2021 at 8 am. Last date for returning tasks is 14th March 2021 at 23.55 pm. Tasks returned later will not be evaluated, student will sign in this course in autumn 2021.

Student is entitled to study this course when she/he has signed in Peppi by 15th February.

Assessment methods and criteria
All the tasks has to be answered. When you receive the right answer, comment and reflect your own answer. Return all the tasks until 14th March. Teacher will evaluate tasks and write down the grade in Peppi until 28th March.
