Osaamistavoitteet
Clinical chemistry I (4,0 cr): Students are able to, under supervision, use the automated clinical chemistry analyzers applying their knowledge of the general principles of analysis, the function of the equipment and the concepts of clinical chemistry and immunochemistry. Students know how to carry out the daily basic maintenance of the equipment they use and the calibration and quality control according to the examination.
Clinical haematology (3,0 cr): Students can independently prepare a technically high quality blood film and know mature, healthy blood cells. Students know how to work with microscopes independently.
Molecular genetics (2,0 cr): Students get acquainted with the working methods of molecular genetics and cleanroom work. Students practices precision pipetting work. Students are able to perform pipetting exercises independently.
Sisältö
Students work in clinical chemistry, haematology and molecular genetic laboratories following quality standards and safety laboratory practice. Students rehearse the use of measuring devices in clinical haematology.
