Course Description:
This advanced course focuses on the integration of scientific knowledge and engineering principles to design, plan, and evaluate biotechnological systems and solutions. It prepares students for professional roles in biotechnology by emphasizing project-based learning, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Students will explore biotechnical project development—from conceptual design and feasibility analysis to implementation planning and evaluation. Topics include bioprocess design, equipment selection, and sustainability considerations.
