Objective of the course is to become familiar with the basics of AC circuits and electromagnetism. After completing the course, student
- recall the basic concepts of AC circuits
- can determine voltages, currents and component values of AC circuits
- can use systematic calculation methods as well as software tools to solve AC circuits
- can explain the basic concepts related to electric field, magnetism and magnetic field
- will be able to solve magnetic circuits in basic cases
- understand concepts related to magnetic force and electromagnetic induction
