Tavoitteet

Opintojakson suoritettuaan opiskelija osaa:

Kuvata mistä digitalisaatiossa on kysymys, miten se vaikuttaa liiketoimintaan ja mitä uusia mahdollisuuksia se voi tarjota,
Kuvata mitä massadata (Big Data), asioiden internet (Internet of Things, IOT),kaiken internet (Internet of Everything) ja muut digitalisaatioon liittyvättrendit ja käsitteet tarkoittavat, sekä mitä tietoturvahaasteita digitalisaatiosaattaa tuoda mukanaan,
Luoda innovatiivisia ehdotuksia uusiksi ratkaisuiksi hyödyntäen digitalisaatioon liittyviä teknologioita.

Oppimateriaalit

Material (videos, articles, etc) from the internet, available via the learning environment.
All the assignments, tests and exams are done in the learning environment

Opetusmenetelmät

Collaboration in the learning environments and independent work, online.
Students also self-study subjects and create reports and video presentations.
There are some tests during the course to verify students' learning.

Pedagogiset toimintatavat ja kestävä kehitys

The course provides an understanding of how digitalisation affects us. Students work both individually and collaborate virtually in the learning environments. Students also make reports and video presentations about subjects related to digitalisation and share them with other students. Presentations are peer-reviewed.

Personal work: self-study, assignments and video preparations: 130 hours
- discussions about selected videos
- writing about selected topics related to digitalisation
- exercises about key subjects related to digitalisation
- writing two reports about subjects related to digitalisation
- preparation of video presentation about one subject
- peer reviews
On-line tests or exams: 3 hours
TOTAL: 133 hours

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

Evaluation is based on:
- Assignments completed: 25%
- Exam: 25%
- Teacher's and Peer reviews of reports and video presentation: 25%
- Learning Diary and activity in discussion areas: 25%

Hylätty (0)

Student has completed less than 50% of the course assignments
AND did not pass the exam
OR peer reviews for reports and video presentation on average less than 50% of points.

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1-2)

Student has completed more than 50% of the assignments BUT not all the assignment steps
AND achieved 45% points in the exam
AND peer reviews for reports and video presentation on average less than 70% of points
AND low activity compared to others in discussion areas or in ViLLE’s Learning diary

Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3-4)

Student has completed all the assignment steps and completed 75% of the tasks in the steps
AND achieved 65% points in the exam
AND peer reviews for reports and video presentation on average less than 90% of points
AND average activity compared to others in discussion areas or in ViLLE’s Learning diary

Arviointikriteerit, kiitettävä (5)

Student has completed all the assignment steps and completed 90% of the tasks in the steps
AND achieved 80% points in the exam
AND peer reviews for reports and video presentation on average more than 90% of points
AND high activity compared to others in discussion areas or in ViLLE’s Learning diary
