Tavoitteet
Students
1. will understand the main principles of waste management
2. identify the business potential of recycling and reuse
3. recognize the need for new innovations
4. recognize the value of waste as a resource
5. recognize the need for legislative incentives
6. enhance their working life competences
Students will be able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team to think in a customer-oriented way to act in presentation and interaction situations to act independently using external networks and resources to manage a project successfully

The Waste Management Module deals with current themes related to waste management, circular economy and resource efficiency. For example:principles of waste legislationthe waste management hierarchy: minimization, reuse, recycling, energy recovery, final disposalwaste amounts and compositionmost common waste utilization methods
