NURSING OF MENTAL HEALTH AND DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE PATIENT 7 CR MIHA Objectives: The student shall be able to - define the needs of treatment of a mental health and drug and alcohol abuse client/patient, plan and implement the treatment as well as assess its effectiveness - face and help clients/patients of different ages as well as their family members. - become familiar with the methods, care relationship and teamwork in mental health and drug and alcohol abuse nursing and learn to use clinical supervision to aid his or her professional development. - review the significance of his or her values and attitudes in facing clients/patients of different ages and in professional interaction - improve his or her medicinal treatment competence in mental health and drug and alcohol abuse nursing (Medication Passport) - document information relating to the nursing of a mental health and drug and alcohol abuse patient
