- Historical development of biomaterials in dental care
- Requirements for biomaterials and compositions of biomaterials in dental care
- Materials engineering properties of biomaterials and the main chemical reactions associated with the use of biomaterials
- Selecting the right material for restorative and prosthodontic care considering the load exercised by the masticatory system (strength of materials)
- The most important materials engineering properties of biomaterials
- Mechanisms of allergic reactions and side effects of biomaterials in the dental care staff and the patient
- Appropriate selection/treatment of materials in order to manage, eliminate or reduce the risks of allergic reactions and side effects of biomaterials in dental care
