Objective

The aim of the course is for the student to reach the proficiency level A2 in the Finnish language. Students are able to communicate in familiar and everyday situations using common vocabulary and expressions.

Content

After completing the course, students are able to
• briefly describe their life and environment (e.g. family, housing, living environment and leisure).
• communicate in everyday situations (e.g. shopping, café and restaurant, public transport)
• understand the topic and core content of short and simple texts
• write short and simple notes and messages related to everyday needs
• use many of the most important grammatical structures

Qualifications

At least the proficiency level A1.3 in the Finnish language
