Objective

In the Finnish language and communication (Finnish language and workplace communication) studies, you will become acquainted with expert and workplace communication. During the course, you will practice communication and interaction skills needed in working life.

After completing the course, you will be able to:
• operate in communication and interaction situations in your field
• develop your own communication skills
• take into account the recipient, the situation, and the practices of the profession.

Content

Course content:
- Characteristics of formal style
- Analysis and writing of texts specific to the field
- Workplace communication situations
- Evaluation of one's own communication skills
- Giving and receiving feedback.

Qualifications

Prerequisites:
Participation in the course requires proficiency in the Finnish language at the C-level.
