Objectives
Student
• understands the significance of sexuality in human development and overall well-being.
• is able to bring up sexuality as part of nursing while taking multiculturalism into account.
• knows the most common sexual health research and treatment procedures and understands the importance of preventive nursing in multiprofessional cooperation.
• can act based on dialogue in guidance and counselling situations.
• is familiar with the normal progress of a pregnancy and key methods for monitoring pregnancy.
• knows how to help a woman giving birth in urgent, first-aid childbirth when a doctor or midwife is not available.
• is familiar with the course of a normal puerperium and understands the health-promoting significance of breastfeeding.
