Teaching methods
The student initiates and monitors opportunities in creating new options for the business by considering elements of the business model. The student can make use of external workshops for business development.
Content scheduling
This course supports students in understanding the importance and value of creativity, innovation and change for business development. Moreover, students develop their capability in thinking out-of-the-box, from designing the strategic plans to implementing them. Students take in consideration the form of business, the market trends and the possibility to pivot their current business model.
Important elements in this competence are the knowledge of options with regards to business fundamentals (form, funding, positioning, targeting, brand strategy) and the formal consideration of ideating new options to reduce risk exposure or/and leverage opportunities.
