Objective

After completing the course, the student
- knows what music technology means in terms of the work of a music pedagogue
- is able to utilize music technology in her teaching and artistic work
- knows the basics of recording and editing digital audio and video to the extent required by her profession
- masters the principle of streaming and knows how to make a streaming broadcast
- can define and deploy a workstation (AV and IT hardware and software) for artistic work and remote teaching for a music pedagogue.
- can set up and use a combination of software suitable for teaching
- understands the impact how different ways to distribute music effects the quality of sound and auditory image.

Content

Student can digitally record and edit audio and video. Student can make appropriate settings for recording her instrument and for online meeting software. Student can specify a pedagogically justified set of devices and software that meet her professional needs.

The student understands the impact how different ways to distribute music effects the quality of sound and auditory image. Student can use and combine software necessary for teaching in the online meeting application.

Task: Film and record a teaching session that you could use in your own teaching and
share it in the return folder.

Lesson 3.
Monday 11.11 2024 at 17:00-18:30 - Video and audio editing using the BYOD(bring your
own device)-method + assignment

Task: Edit (add texts, edit image, edit sound, etc.) filmed and recorded teaching session
improve the material and share it in the return folder.

Monday 9.12.2024 at 17.00-18.30 - Artificial intelligence in music + Producing, sharing and
using electronic sheet music material
