- describe typical energy consumptions in most common energy systems/equipment and what they depend on
- can analyze heat and electrical losses in energy systems (measurements and calculations)

- evaluate energy related costs in different systems and compare profitability of different actions
- recalls most typical incentives and contract models related to energy efficiency
