• Fails to meet deadlines, unable to participate in team working
• Unable to recognize the relationship between product development and R&D processes and activities and the company's business.
• Cannot explain the phases and content of product development processes.
• Does not utilize tools to enhance and facilitate creativity and development.
• Unable to lead or manage basic R&D projects.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Product Development:
• Partially recognizes the relationship between product development and R&D processes and activities and the company's business.
• Can explain the basic phases and content of product development processes.
• Uses some tools to enhance and facilitate creativity and development.
• Can lead and manage basic R&D projects but requires guidance.
