Objective
Students are familiar with the basics of human anatomy and physiology in such a way that they understand the normal functions of the human organism and the aetiology of physiological disturbances and through that, the physiological basis of clinical laboratory examinations.
Students are familiar with the most common medical conditions and diseases and know the role of clinical laboratory sciences in the diagnosing, clinical radiography and radiotherapy treatment and follow-up of the care in the patient/client care.
Students know the basic concepts of pharmacology and their significance. Students know the most common pharmaceuticals, their metabolism and effect mechanisms and purpose of use. Students know the laboratory examinations in pharmacology, toxicology and controlled substances, and the impact of pharmaceuticals on the result of laboratory examinations.
Radiography: Environments of clinical radiography and imaging and radiotherapy method generally used to care health problems.
