Students will
• Learn to apply their knowledge in health advice regarding motherhood and parenthood based on the needs and expectations of families
• Learn to apply their knowledge to answer the customer’s and her family’s special questions regarding pregnancy and parenthood
• Learn to work as a breastfeeding counsellor
• Learn to apply their knowledge in matters regarding the family’s sexual health

• Monitoring, care and guidance of the pregnancy and postpartum period in prenatal care
• Special questions regarding pregnancy and the postpartum period
• Family planning guidance, breastfeeding counselling (plissit model and contraceptive advice)
• Special questions related to pregnancy and parenthood, e.g. mental health
• House call
