Development of Public Health NursingLaajuus (5 cr)

Objective

The student shall be able to
- improve his or her skills in working in public health nursing
- develop his or her actions in independent planning, implementation and evaluation of the client's overall care
- take overall responsibility for the care of clients in his or her work group
- work as an expert in nursing in developing public health nursing and its prerequisites in his or her work unit
- deepen his or her medicinal treatment competence in the different areas of public health nursing (Medication Passport)
- improve his or her knowledge of and skills in the characteristics of public health nursing and the related documenting and understand the role of documenting in developing nursing.
