Objective

Student: - understands digital counselling methods, processes and situations where to use online counselling - recognises the principles and practices of interaction, social presence and ethics in online counselling - tests digital equipments or applications or makes a plan how to use them in her/his own work/professional domain - understands the priciples of information security and data protection in online counselling -developes her/his own competence by creating a practical summary ( digital board) of digital and online counselling

Content

MOOC includes 5 themes: 1. Orientation. Definitions of counselling and digital/online counselling 2. Processes and principles of digital/online counselling 3. Interaction and social presence in digital/online counselling 4. Equipment, spaces and applications in digital/online counselling 5. Information security, data protection and copyright in digital/online counselling There are several tasks along the course every week, which support to complete the final assignment in the end (the digital board of online counselling)

Qualifications

The course is for all students or professional who need digital and online counselling on their work. Particularly for students and practitioners in social- , health or education, but as well for all students and professionals utilising digital, distance online counselling in their work. No starting level demands. Every participant composes own goals for her/his learning and competence development.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Accepted/fail. All assignments have to be completed for accepted course evaluation. Self-evuluation is in major role in this course.
