Objective
Student can together with others develop a functional organisation for his/her team and manage the co-operative towards the vision according to the set goals. Student realizes the meaning and requirements of self-managing. Student can apply the latest management theories into various sitiations.

Content scheduling
The course starts on September 16th and includes 6 contact sessions on Mondays at 13-16 hours (not on week 42).
The course focuses on the following topics:
- future leadership, team coaching and own leadership style
- practical activities of a team leader
- well-functioning teams and team dynamics
- interaction in teams

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is based on:
- preparation for the contact sessions, active participation and contribution at the contact sessions
- tasks and assignments completed
All assignments need to be completed to be able to pass the course.
As the knowledge will be deepen in a dialogue and with different exercises, it is important to participate in the contact sessions.
Assessment criteria, fail (0)
All course assignments are not completed as accepted.
The student has not joined the contact sessions (participation less than 50%) to develop his/her and other students' team leadership skills.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The student is able to
•identify the evolution of leadership models
•understand the basic elements of efficient teamwork and the role of a team leader
•contribute to group work
•identify typical problems in teamwork
•manage his/her own work
•evaluate own performance
The assignments are not completed according to instructions and they are returned late.

The student is able to

•communicate and work efficiently in a group
•identify and propose solutions to the typical problems in teamwork
•evaluate own performance, reflect own learning and find own development areas
•show evidence of insight and capacity of argumentation

The student is able to
•understand the changing role of a leader and apply the learnings in his/her own behaviour
•evaluate own performance, reflect own learning, identify own development areas and change own behaviour accordingly
•contribute to group work and group work results in an active and goal-oriented way
•understand the importance of team interaction, listen different point of views and facilitate group work
The assignments completed according to instructions and returned on time with analytical approach and ability to justify own arguments.
