Objective

The students will deepen their personal expression and identity as an artist and improve their skills in independent and goal-oriented ways of working.

Content

On this course, the students will expand their knowledge of printmaking methods and practices and the use of tools and materials. In the course, the students will focus on the ImageOn Photopolymer and carborundum techniques.

Teaching methods

Contact teaching, technical demonstrations, discussions of content in practical work and guided practical works and group discussions.

International connections

students are working with teacher, reflecting and discussing during various learning bases and excursions

Student workload

during four weeks period students show they master professional working skills and abilities to work independently.

Content scheduling

Photopolymer method; basics and knowledge of materials, 1. - 24.3.2021
Starting tuesday 1.3. 10 o'clock
Teacher is present mostly tuesday to thursday, student the whole week.
Ending of the course and interactive discussion at Thursday 24.3.

Further information

student is obliged to get printing papers and copy transparencies suitable for method and also personal protection clothing such as gloves and e.g. apron

H-5

Assessment methods and criteria

In the end of the course there will be final talk with the whole team where students by talk and prints show their mastery to the subject. Evaluation is emphasized with the student´s presence in teaching, working process and it's target/object and professional working skills

No approved practical works and presence in teaching is less than 80%.

Student
