Objective
During this course the students will deepen their knowledge body on knowledge and competence management and learn to link it to the strategic and operational management. After completing this course the student:
- is able to develop the competence of personnel so that the organisation's visio and future needs for competence are taken into attention
- is able to evaluate the knowledge and competences on the organisational, group and individual level
- is able to advance the practices of shared learning within his/her own work community
- is able to apply the theory of learning organisation when planning and implementing personnel development
- is able to plan and implement processes for developing of competence and operations as well as changes

Core contents:
- key theories explaining organisational learning and knowledge and competence management
- strategy oriented development of the knowledge and competence, the methods and systems, change management
- from evaluating knowledge and competence towards effectiveness of development
