Objective

The student shall be able to-master the basic concepts of nutrition and nutritional physiology and methods of assessing the nutritional state to be able to evaluate the patient's nutritional state and needs-describe the premises for Finnish social and healthcare policies-explain the system of social and healthcare services-list the essential healthcare acts and statutes-explain healthcare plans devised for emergencies-define the structure and functions of the human body in order to understand the normal functions of the organs and their regulation-explain the structure and functions of healthy skin-explain the structure and functions of the human musculoskeletal system-explain the structure and functions of the human digestive system-explain the control of the human fluid balance and the structure and functions of the urinary system-explain the structure and functions of the respiratory and cardiovascular system-explain the structure and functions of the human immune system
