Objective

After completing the course, the student is able to
- name the basic principles of animation
- apply the basic principles of animation to the practice
- use stop motion program
- gain an overview of the history of animation
- incorporate historical traditions, themes and phenomena in art in their own work
- gain an overview of the national and international animation industry
- understand the importance of sustainable development in animation and how to take ethical and aesthetic responsibility for your own environment.

Content

Workshop that focus on the basic principles of animation and means of expression. Small animation exercises expand and deepen the students’ competences in specialized professional and expressive area of animation. In addition the students will learn collaborative skills and team and project skills. Lectures in animation history, national and international animation industry and sustainable development are also incorporated to the course.
