Objective

The student:

· Can advise, guide and care for a woman and family in planning a pregnancy and as it progresses
· Can monitor the well-being of the woman and the foetus during pregnancy
· Can prevent, anticipate and identify risk factors and complications of pregnancy
· Can monitor the well-being of the woman and the foetus during a risky pregnancy and participate in treatment as a member of a multi-professional team
