Tavoitteet
The student:
1. Understand the principles of waste legislation and
2. Recognize the need for legislative incentives
3. Recognizes the roles of different operators and the best practices of operational waste management.
4. Understand the social and environmental impacts of waste management globally
5. Practice work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
6. Practice think in a customer-oriented way
7.Practice to act independently using external networks and resources to manage a work successfully
Sisältö
In this course you'll familiarize yourself with the practices of waste management from workplace safety to transportation. The main goal is to understand the usual daily practises of operational waste management. You will also get information about waste legislation in the EU get understanding the waste management in the developing countries.

In this course the student familiarizes themself with the practices of waste management from workplace safety to transportation. The main goal is to understand the usual daily practices of operational waste management. The student will also get information about waste legislation in the EU and learn to understand waste management in the developing countries.
