Objective
Students will learn to
- understand the importance of self-care and supporting it
- in different ways, assess and support the patient to commit to their care
- know and broadly apply methods used in patient counselling
- identify and apply the role of the third sector and an expert by experience as a support for the patient’s self-care and counselling
- support the patient’s rehabilitation

- Self-care and supporting it
- Interaction and communication competence
- Pharmacotherapy as part of the patient’s self-care – the importance of correct adherence to care, self-care medication
- Expertise by experience and the third sector
