After the course, the student can:
- assess the quality of the supervision of the work organization for the students
- assess her/his own supervision work
- develop the supervision in her/his own work organization
- develop the climate of the work organization more student friendly
- encounter the students in practice more skillfully
- predict the needs of supervision in her/his own work organization

Content:
During the course will be familiarized with help of four podcasts, reading materials and exercises with the supervision of the social and health care students. In the podcasts the interviewers of the TUAS will discuss multi-professionally with the students, teachers and experts of clinical practice and research units of following topics: 1) Student supervision - possibility and resource, 2) Meaning of the work organization into learning, 3) Encountering and supervision of the student and 4) The finest hours and challenges of the student supervision.

This course suits for everyone, who is interested in and supervises the students and the new workers.

Objective

Tämän kurssin jälkeen opiskelija osaa:
• Arvioida työyhteisön opiskelijaohjauksen laatua
• Arvioida omaa ohjaustyötään
• Kehittää opiskelijan ohjausta työyhteisössään
• Kehittää työyhteisöä opiskelijamyönteisemmäksi
• Kohdata opiskelijan harjoittelussa entistä taitavammin
• Ennakoida ohjaustarpeita omassa työyhteisössä

Content

Opintojaksolla tutustutaan neljän podcastin, luettavan materiaalin ja itsenäisten pohdintatehtävien avulla sosiaali- ja terveysalan opiskelijaohjaukseen. Podcasteissa Turun ammattikorkeakoulun haastattelijat ovat saaneet vieraaksi sote-alan opiskelijoita monialaisesti ja työelämänedustajia kliinisestä työstä, koulutuksesta ja tutkimuslaitoksesta. Käsiteltävät sisällöt ovat 1) Opiskelijaohjaus – mahdollisuus ja voimavara, 2) Työyhteisön merkitys oppimiseen, 3) Opiskelijan kohtaaminen ja ohjaaminen ja 4) Opiskelijaohjauksen huippuhetket ja haasteet. Tämä opiskelijaohjaajakoulutus sopii kaikille niille, jotka ohjaavat ja perehdyttävät opiskelijoita tai uusia työntekijöitä työssään.
