* Static characterisation, linearity, sensitivity, hysteresis, repeatability
* Dynamic characterisation, first and second order response
* Usage of block diagrams to describe sensors
* Basics of calibration
* Measurement signals and noise
* Sensor technologies, microsensors, electrochemical sensors
