Content scheduling

During the course, students will learn about digital photography, image processing and the basics of post-production. During the course, students will experiment and explore the possibilities offered by digital methods in their own artistic work, as well as learn about the specific issues related to the photographing of artworks, both in terms of camera technology and lighting. During the course, students will design a portfolio and learn how to update it.

The course is divided into two parts:
In the intensive week (week 40 Tue 1 Oct - Fri 4 Oct), students will learn how to use a digital camera and lighting in repro photographing their artwork.
On Tuesdays in weeks 43-47 we focus on post-production (Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, CameraRaw and Photoshop) and the basics of layout work (InDesign).

- is able to utilise the means of digital photography in their own artistic work
- is able to photograph their artworks
- knows the basics of image post-production and file management
- knows the basics of layout work.

Content

During the course, students learn about digital photography, image processing and the basics of layout work. During the course, students experiment and seek the opportunities offered by digital methods in their own artistic work. The student designs a portfolio during the course.
