Prerequisite: Thesis plan course is completed.
Thesis draft text submission to Itslearning until 26.9.2025. In this version, next chapters should be included:
- Introduction
- Starting points of the development work
- Theory chapter + subchapters
- Implementation and the current results of the development work
- Preliminary development work outcome
Thesis workshop Fri 3.10.2025 9:30 - 12:00 in Salo campus.
Prepare a short slideshow on your current thesis status.
Students are responsible for booking a thesis discussion with the supervising teachers. Students will contact the teacher. Students will send the current version of their thesis to the teacher 2-5 business days before the meeting.
Objective
• you are able to carry out creative research and development that aims for constructive change in collaboration with various operators
• you are able to implement research and/or development in collaboration with a commissioner
• you are able to use your theoretical framework and research and development methods independently to reform operating practices
• you are able to assess knowledge to promote well-being and comply with research and development ethics principles and guidelines
• you know how to communicate about research and give constructive peer feedback
