Objective

Students will
• Deepen their skills and knowledge in supporting individuals of different ages and their families
• Learn to set goals, as well as to plan, provide, document and evaluate health care and health advice offered to people of different ages and to their families
• Learn to apply their knowledge to carry out group activities promoting health
• Develop their own value and knowledge base related to public health nursing
• Learn to assess and develop their public health nursing activities

Further information

Harjoittelun aloittamisen edeltävyysehtona on hyväksytysti suoritettu rokotusosaamisen perusteet 2op-opintojakso ja rokotusosaamisen syventävä rokotusosaaminen 1op, lääkehoidon opintojaksoon kuuluvat lääkelaskut ja nestehoidon opintojaksoon kuuluvat nestelaskut. Harjoittelujaksoon liittyvä teoriaopetus pääosin suoritettuna.

Ongelmatilanteissa ja poissaoloista ole yhteydessä sekä harjoittelupaikkaan, että ohjaavaan opettajaan.
