Objective

BASICS OF PHARMACOTHERAPY 5 ETCS LÄPE

Objectives:

Student
• is familiar with the ethical, legal and societal basics of pharmacotherapy
• knows the basics of pharmacology and pharmacy needed in nursing work
• knows how to implement an effective, sustainable and safe pharmacotherapy process in different operating environments and knows the responsibilities and roles of different professional groups and the medicine user
• knows how use reliable sources of information in the implementation of pharmacotherapy
• is able to how to make medicine-related calculations needed in the implementation of pharmacotherapy
• can guide patients and their families in pharmacotherapy and understands the significance of commitment to treatment
• is able to assess their competence in pharmacotherapy using the Medication Passport
• learns about digital health technology applications of pharmacotherapy in nursing

Toteutusta ei voi suorittaa valinnaisella tavalla.
Luokkaharjoitteluihin tulee osallistua lähtökohtaisesti oman ryhmän mukana suunnitellussa järjestyksessä. Poissaolot korvataan ensisijaisesti toisen ryhmän vastaavalla tunnilla.

Student workload

Lääkehoito koostuu teoriaopinnoista (3 op) ja luokkaharjoittelusta (2 op), yhteensä 5 op (5x27=135h) opiskelijan työtä.
