Objective

The student knows the tasks, responsibilities and obligations of property manager, and he knows the basics of the law of house owning company, as well as the tasks of technical manager in residential property.

Materials

Electronic material provided by lecturer in IT´s and literature to be agreed at the beginning of the studies, and Isännöinnin käsikirja.

Teaching methods

Learning takes place through applied problem-based learning, in which the theoretical part is applied in practice through various news, assignments, exercises and case materials.

To be agreed at the beginning of implementation.

International connections

In teaching, innovation pedagogy will be applied during lectures and exercises, as well as in assignments. The focus is on pragmatic activities derived from key theories.

Student workload

Exercises, essay, exam and Case. Student total workload 5 cr. The implementation may include an external assignment (part of grade rating). Most of the assignments are performed as oral assignments in the lectures and the theoretical topic, and are not repeated by the lecturer. The aim of oral assignments is to simulate the assignments given by the customers. Possible familiarization with the host site and compilation of reports at the base of the visit.
