Objective

Students are able to identify the various types of financial markets and market characteristics. The student is able to distinguish the differences between the key markets, recognizes the most common investment instruments and is able to point out characteristics of key investment instruments. The student is able to use and interpret the most common methods and models used in investment activities. The Student recognizes the importance of investment- related information and knows how to interpret the information. The Student understands how the information impacts in the market valuation of the financial instrument.
Students are able to distinguish the main structures in the general real estate market and are able to interpret the local property market characteristics and market fragmentation. The student understands the value creation components in individual real estate investment and is able to explain their effects on individual investment. Students can use the essential calculation methods related to the valuation of the real estate investment. The student is able to interpret key risks in the property investment and recognizes the key risk management methods in real estate investment.
