After completing the course, the student:
- understand the meaning of the efficiency and its role in sustainable development
- can choose the pipe diameter and calculate the pressure drop in the piping
- can choose a piping suitable and energy efficient pump
- can choose the insulation thickness and calculate the heat loss
- determine the size (heat transfer area) and choose the type of the heat exchanger
- understand who heat pump works and what means heat coefficient.
