Introduction to ChemistryLaajuus (3 cr)

Objective

After the course, student knows the structure of an atom and knows how to use the Periodic Table. Student knows the concepts amount of substance and moles, atomic mass and molas mass, and is able to perform basic calculations. In addition, student knows a concept of concentration and is able to perform basic calculations related to it. Student knows the principle of chemical reactions and is able to balance them. Student is able to name common organic and inorganic compounds.
