Content scheduling

Students will be introduced to basic principles of animating puppets, lighting and cinematography in Stop Motion production.

During the course students will be working in small groups. These groups will function as a production teams that produces each a short stop motion production (duration 2-4 minutes).

This course is second part of a bigger ensemble. The first part will start already in Autumn 2024 and will focus on preproduction (script development and building the stop motion puppets and sets). To achieve the best technical and artistic knowledge and understanding of stop motion production it is recommendable to take part in both of the courses.

Animation, lighting and cinematography in Stop Motion production -course will start 7th of January in the big studio in Lemminkäisenkatu (Iso Studio LEM_B162) and will continue until the end of May.
