The student has the technical and expressive skills to perform works corresponding to the level of B-level performance in a concert situation.
The student is capable of independent artistic expression and mastery of large musical ensembles.
The interaction skills with the audience and the co-player are good.
Students will be able to use professional literature, research publications and their skills in understanding music, history and writing in the development of instrument competence.
The student has internalized the goals of self-reflection, i.e. the ability to examine and develop their own work analytically.

Content scheduling
The recommended venue for B exam is the Sigyn Hall. Arrange the date of your exam with your teacher. The time and place must be clear 2 months before the date. If necessary, the date of the exam may be changed. The teacher should be informed immediately of any changes to the schedule

The student designs with teacher a versatile artistic programme that best brings out guitarist’s the artistic personality, guitaristic skills and the musical performer's abilities. The program must be a concert-like and versatile display of the different components and styles of guitar playing. Original and well-thought-out programming is recommended. In level exam, the programme is presented in a concert-like situation to the evaluation board, which gives feedback on it.
The guitarist’s Level B performance program shall include:
- Renaissance, Baroque and/or Viennese classical music (composed before 1829)
- fast paced virtuoso work
- large-scale work
- Free chosen music
- the programme may include chamber music, the exploitation of technology in deepening the artistic goals is acceptable.
The programme must be approved by the teacher no later than 2 months before the level exam.
The minimum duration of the programme is 30 minutes and the maximum duration is 60 minutes. A programme exceeding the maximum duration shall be negotiated with the teacher prior to the Level Exam.
The solo program should be presented from memory. Demanding contemporary music may be performed from score.
