Objective

The aim of the course is to acquaint the student with motion control applications used in industrial automation and the associated hydraulic and electrical controls. Upon completing the course, the student will:
- understand the requirements and operations of motion control for different loads.
- be familiar with the operation of hydraulic and electrical proportional and servo controllers and various actuators.
- understand the principles and applications of digital hydraulics.
- recognize environmentally friendly methods in hydraulic design and implementation.
- be able to plan and implement hydraulic and electrical motion control.
