Objective

Upon completing the course, the student will be familiar with the eligibility requirements for designers, the tasks of a structural designer, and the various phases of design. Additionally, the student will be acquainted with typical framing systems, structural solutions, and connections of structural elements. The student will be able to determine design loads in different loading scenarios and dimension some common structural elements.
