NeurofysiologyLaajuus (2 cr)

Code: 7073132

Credits

2 op

Objective

Students know the most common special examinations in physiology. Students have basic knowledge of the most common clinical physiology examinations, are familiar with the standardization involved and know the quality management procedures. Students know how to interpret the ECG and spirometry results.
Theory and quality management of the commonly used neurophysiology techniques; Electroencephalography (EEG), Nerve conduction study (ENEG), evoked potentials i.e. Visual Evoked Potential (VEP), Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potential (BAEP) and Sensory Evoked Potential (SEP) and nocturnal polygraphy recordings.
