Objective

The student is able to work safely, ergonomically and take into account the safety of the work community and the environment in clinical laboratory work. The student knows how to name the most common measuring instruments and knows their purposes. The student masters the reliable use of an air piston pipette and a scale. The student knows how to handle chemicals safely. The student knows the structure, operating principle and key concepts of a spectrophotometer. The student can determine the concentration of the analyte by spectrophotometric endpoint measurement.
