Students can speak and write in study and nursing related communication and interaction situations. Students can instruct and guide patients in care situations.
Students can consider the needs of the patient and the situation in their communication. Students can express courtesy. Students recognise features of formal and informal language.
Students understand spoken language and their pronunciation is understandable. Students are able to ensure that they understand by asking questions, when necessary.
Students know the key structures used in the care sector and recognise other grammatical structures.
Students develop their Finnish language and communication competence as part of their professional skills. Students are able to send appropriate email messages, understand the basics of using sources and use feedback they receive.
