Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Approved: Active participation in the planning and implementation of the assignment. Taking care of one's own responsibilities and smooth cooperation with the team.

Rejected: Minimal participation in the planning and implementation of the assignment. Poor handling of one's own responsibilities and ineffective cooperation with the team.

Content scheduling

Assignment: Organize an Early Childhood Education Intensive Week from May 22 to May 28, 2025, for a group of students from Hong Kong at the Kupittaa Campus and surrounding areas in Turku. Approximately 20-30 Hong Kong students and their teachers will participate in the intensive week.

The teachers of the social services education program will be responsible for the actual teaching during the week, so the following tasks will be the responsibility of the TKI project students:

Guiding the Hong Kong group on practical matters in advance and during the visit
Planning and implementing the weekend program (Sat 24.5.2025 and Sun 25.5.2025)
Organizing and implementing daycare visits during weekdays
Planning and organizing the week's closing ceremony on Wed 28.5.2025
Other tasks to be defined later

The assignment requires readiness to work in English and enthusiasm for international cooperation. Additionally, the student must commit to being present for the implementation of the intensive week from May 22 to May 28, 2025.

If more students register for the course than can be accommodated, students will be selected by lottery.

The first meeting will be held at the Kupittaa campus on Thursday, March 20, from 3 PM to 4 PM. Other meetings will be scheduled in consultation with the student group.
