· explain the basics of etiology and pathophysiology in cancer development
· critically estimate the incidence of cancer in Finland and Europe and identify the most common cancer causes and risk factors
· recognize the significance of cancer prevention from the point of view of public health and become familiar with the most essential methods used in cancer prevention
· take cultural context into account in cancer prevention
· explain the most essential methods used for cancer diagnosis
