Objective

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- reflect on their own relationship with music, the effects of music on their own well-being, and their participation experiences in various activities that utilise music
- justify the possibilities and benefits of using music to enhance well-being of different customer groups
- apply music-based activities according to the needs of different target groups
- identify strengths and development needs in their own guidance and facilitation competence

- The multiple meanings and well-being effects of music in light of one's own experiences and research-based knowledge
- Uses of music in care settings; various contexts, audiences and practices
- Interactive activities based on music and sound
- Observing the competence required of the instructor in facilitating creative, musical, low-threshold activities.
