Objective
The student is able
- to justify the use of art-based methods to promote the well-being of customers
- to cooperate with different working communities and liaisons in enabling art-based interventions and implementation
- to plan, evaluate and, according to their own strengths, also implement customer-oriented art-oriented methods
- to observe and verbalise the feelings and experiences of music in themselves
Content
• Lecture: The nature and welfare of music – The diverse meanings and ways of performing music in hospital and nursing environments, experiences from the field
• the use of various objects and percussion indicators as an instrument of interactive improvisation, functional exercises in the group
The student gets experiences from interactive musical exercises. The exercises aim to strengthen the imagination, relax in the group, sensitize listening, communicate with music and create new soundscapes together with others.
• nursing songs and games, creating and singing sound landscapes in a group, verbalising one’s own feelings • independent work and learning tasks
Qualifications
The course does not require musical know-how, previous experience in making music or implementing art-based methods of music.
